Our cash advances are from $500 to $1,500.



The total amount repayable includes the initial advance, fees and interest. For example an advance of $1,000, repayable at $90 per week for 12 weeks has a total repayment of $1,080 being the advance of $1,000, $50 establishment fee and $30 interest.



The CA$H is transferred directly into your bank account.



It's easy. Please make sure the required cash is available in your bank account as agreed. Repayments are weekly, fortnightly or monthly as agreed.

Please note that if the funds aren't available in your bank account as agreed, then you may incur default fees towards the cost of a failed collection. The Credit Contract clearly identify default fees.



You can reapply immediately after your final payment on previous advance. We will also consider top-ups to an existing advance depending on each persons circumstances.



CASH4YOU advances are for occasional and short-term money needs.



CASH4YOU provides fast and convenient paperless advances online. We advance the amounts from $500 to $1,500 and we set up weekly, fortnightly or monthly repayments as agreed from your bank account via direct debit. To borrow from us you’ll need to complete an online application form. Once you have completed your application, you will be asked to sign your Credit Contract. Once approved, the money is transferred into your bank account that same day provided that we receive your signed Credit Contract.


  • You need to be at least 18 years of age,
  • You need to have a drivers licence,
  • You need to live in New Zealand,
  • You need to have an active bank account,
  • You need to have access to online banking,
  • You need to have access to a computer - the application is 100% online,
  • You need to own a mobile phone. This way we can also communicate by text, and
  • You need to complete and submit the online application form.



Yes you need to scan and email your signed Credit Contract.



No. It is our intention to lend for occasional and short term money needs. You can use a CASH4YOU advance for anything legal. CASH4YOU practices Responsible Lending. Please also act responsibly by only borrowing what you can afford to repay as agreed.



As CASH4YOU are responsible lenders, we believe you should only have one short-term loan at a time. We may not approve your application if we have knowledge of you using another short-term loan company, as this may affect your affordability calculations.



Yes you can however CASH4YOU will still need ensure you can afford to repay the advance so you will need some form of income.



All applications need to be submitted online, via our website, and cannot be completed over the phone.



Customer services is available between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. You can email us at: cash4you@xtra.co.nz. We always aim to respond to any email queries within 24 hours during the week. If you contact us over the weekend we’ll be in touch on Monday.



We aren’t open in the weekends or on public holidays. This means your advance won’t be processed until the next working day. We aren’t open on these days as New Zealand banks often cannot process the payments.



You are welcome to apply for a advance, but you need to meet the requirements. You need to use separate bank details, email addresses and mobiles phones. This rule is part of our commitment to responsible lending and helps prevent fraud.



The CASH4YOU advance online application process is quick and simple!* * Subject to CASH4YOU's right to request the required information and signed Credit Contract your application can be approved and funds transferred to you in the same day.



You will not be approved for a CASH4YOU advance if:

  • You provided false or misleading information or withheld relevant information,
  • You are bankrupt,
  • You don't have sufficient income (can be income other than employment),
  • You have an outstanding short-term loan wth another finance company,
  • We are unable to verify your personal information,;
  • The contact information/reference information provided on your application is invalid/incorrect or fraudulent,
  • We are unable to verify your bank account information,
  • Your financial conduct as shown on your bank statement indicates you have budgetary and/or existing debt problems,
  • You have current credit defaults against your name.


Cash advances are offered to those who can demonstrate the capacity to meet their advance repayments and future creditworthiness. CASH4YOU may run a credit check. If you have had previous credit defaults we may still advance cash to you.



If you know you're already experiencing sustained problems meeting existing financial commitments, please don't apply for a CASH4YOU advance. Our advance will only add to your financial commitments. Instead, we recommend you talk to the Citizens Advice Bureau or visit familybudgeting.co.nz for budgeting advice.



We need to know details including your name, age, address, phone numbers, email address, drivers licence number and your source of income etc. We need this information so that we can confirm your identity and to help approve your advance. To give yourself the best chance of advance approval, ensure you provide accurate information. We will keep you updated with emails throughout the cycle of your application.



Yes, a current active New Zealand bank account is required. The bank account needs to be the same account that your income goes into and expenses come out of. You also need access to online banking as you need to complete a bank information request.



Once your application has been received, we will email you and keep you updated.



We will transfer the money to your bank within 60 minutes of you receiving formal approval.



The CA$H is deposited directly into your bank account.



CASH4YOU may run a credit check on you. If you have had previous credit defaults we may still advance cash to you. Cash advances are based on a customer’s capacity to meet repayments and future creditworthiness.



A CASH4YOU cash advance is convenient, easy and fast! Simply fill out and submit our online application with the required information about yourself, and we'll take care of the rest. Your funds will then be transferred directly into your bank account provided that the advance is approved. To verify your financial information provided in your application, you need to complete the bank information request.



We appreciate that you’ve used our service before and repaid your advance, but as responsible lenders we need to take an interest in a customer's ongoing financial health. Therefore we consider every application on an individual basis. If your application has been declined, please email us at cash4you@xtra.co.nz for the reason.



If you have received our email advising your advance has been approved but you haven’t received your money, these are the likely reasons:

  • If you belong to a smaller bank that hasn’t yet implemented systems to enable Same Day Payments, or if your application is approved after 4:30pm, then your bank will most likely show the funds in your account on the morning of the next day.
  • Your Bank may be slow in showing the payment to you. If in doubt, and it still doesn't appear after 60 minutes, please contact your bank.



It's easy. Please make sure the required cash is available in your bank account. Repayments are weekly, fortnightly or montly as agreed. The repayments will be deducted from your bank account automatically on the repayment date/s. Please note that if the funds aren't available in your bank account as agreed, then you'll incur default fees. The Credit Contract clearly identifies default fees.



If you are experiencing financial difficulties and cannot pay on the due date we can help you and will consider your circumstances both sympathetically and positively. Please email customer support at cash4you@xtra.co.nz and let us know your circumstances.



The amount due will be automatically deducted from your bank account overnight.



A email will be sent to you on the day of the dishonour. Further charges and interest will be incurred until the repayment is able to be deducted from your bank account. See Charges for the process and default fees and interest.



Fees and interest will be charged depending on your circumstances and reason. Default fees and interest are outlined on the Charges page and in the Credit Contract. If payment and contact has still not been made then your details will be passed to a debt collector for collections.



Yes, of course. You're welcome to repay your CASH4YOU advance early! CASH4YOU doesn’t charge you for paying back your advance early so there will be no additional fees. The interest on a CASH4YOU advance is calculated daily. If you repay your advance early, your interest is only calculated up to when you make your last repayment! You will need to contact customer service at cash4you@xtra.co.nz for a final balance figure on your advance.



If you think you will have insufficient funds in your bank account on your weekly repayment date, you must contact us immediately to halt the direct debit. You must contact us at least two business days prior to your due date. After this time we will be unable to stop the direct debit as it will have been processed by your bank.



Usually repayments begin the week following the cash advance being paid into your bank account however in certain circumstances we will consider delaying the first repayment.



For a short period of time after the terms of the Credit Contract have been disclosed to you, you can cancel the contract. If you change your mind and no longer wish to take out your advance, you have five working days to return the advance proceeds to CASH4YOU and cancel your Credit Contract. If you cancel your contract no fees will apply. Please see your Credit Contract for a full statement of your rights and the Terms and Conditions of the advance.



CASH4YOU does not require security over your property.



No in depending on your circumstances we will consider top-ups of an existing advance.



You can reapply immediately after the final repayment of your advance and we will also consider top-ups of your existing advance depending on your circumstances.



If you reapply for an advance you can update your bank account details on the application page. If you currently have an existing advance you will need to email customer support at cash4you@xtra.co.nz with the new details.

We will do our best to resolve your complaint as soon as possible. But in any event we must do so within 20 working days. If we cannot resolve your complaint we must inform you of this. We must also inform you of your right to refer to our external disputes resolution provider and of the deadline for you to do so. Our external disputes resolution provider is Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL).
