Responsible Lending

  • A cash advance is a short term arrangement to assist you with an immediate cash requirement.
  • You should only consider a cash advance when you can afford to repay it.
  • Longer term you should consider seeing a budgeting service to assist you to begin saving so you do not find yourself with an immediate cash requirement in future.
  • Before taking out a cash advance consider other cheaper options for borrowing which may include borrowing from friends or family or selling unwanted items.
  • If you do default on your cash advance it is costly. Once you have defaulted on your cash advance 3 weeks in a row your default will be reported to a credit agency and your credit record will be affected. This may affect your ability to seek further credit and other aspects of your life eg renting a property.

IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO PAY IT BACK DON’T BORROW IT!

IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN DIFFICULTY EMAIL US AND WE WILL TRY TO HELP YOU WORK OUT A REPAYMENT PLAN OR A PAYMENT HOLIDAY.

IF YOU DON’T PAY US THEN YOUR CREDIT RECORD WILL BE AFFECTED!

Assess Cash Advance Affordability

At CASH4YOU we undertake reasonable enquiries to verify your financial situation. We do this in order to make a responsible assessment about the suitability of the contract for you and the affordability of the cash advance.

We only advance to those customers that we believe have the means to repay as agreed.

Transparent Service

At CASH4YOU we calculate the total amount repayable for you excluding default fees.

We also make you aware of the ‘annual interest rate’ which is 25%. As responsible lenders we keep our interest rate competitive and in line with major credit cards rather than other payday advance or short term loan companies who charge up to 600%.

You can repay early and, if you do, then you will save money. There are no administrative costs for you to pay your cash advance early. You can repay your cash advance in full at any time by requesting the balance and that CASH4YOU settle your account in full by direct debit on the next weekly payment.

If costs increase, it’s because you’ve failed to honour your Credit Contract! Please see 'What happens if I fail to stick to our Arrangement?' in the Charges section for details of the consequences.

ID Verification

Part of our responsible lending process includes collecting personal information and undertaking reasonable enquiries to ensure it is you who is taking out the loan and that the funds are sent to the correct bank account

Credit Check

At CASH4YOU we reserve the right to run a credit check. We do this as part of our assessment of the suitability and affordability of an advance to you.

We know a few past mistakes can lead to an unfavourable credit history. Therefore, if you have a unfavourable credit rating from previous years we may still lend to you.
